While many long to see Japanese Sakura’s blossoming in the spring, the beautiful Cosmos flower fields blooming during autumn should not be missed! Our Higashikurume International Friendship Club went on a lovely trip together to a park in Kiyose to see some fields of these beautiful flowers in full blossom. It was a cool autumn day, just warm enough, with an overcast sky protecting us from the hot sun—perfect for our trip. As we walked through the fields, the flowers were indeed beautiful with shades of pink, white, and purple all around us. We spent time walking, taking photos, and sharing stories with each other as we enjoyed the view. Afterward, we found a peaceful spot near a pond with turtles and koi fish, next to a small river. We all sat down to eat our bento box lunches together. It was a nice time to relax and converse with friends. The beauty of the cosmos flowers reminded us of God’s beautiful creation. Spending the day outdoors, surrounded by such wonderful sights, made us appreciate the world He made. A big thank you to everyone who helped plan this trip!
